Communal Area Junk Removal in Manchester
Dumped furniture in the bin store? Mattresses left on a landing? Prolink arranges one-off junk removal from the communal areas of residential blocks, serving Manchester. The work is carried out by our partner network of licensed contractors, and we are an upper tier registered waste carrier (registration CBDU630875). Send us a few photos and we will quote from them.
Communal areas covered
Items left in corridors and stairwells can block escape routes and add to fire risk, and overflowing bin stores attract complaints and pests. A quick, one-off clearance keeps communal areas safe and tidy.
• Bin stores and refuse areas: bulky items and excess rubbish dumped beside or blocking the bins.
• Corridors, landings and stairwells: furniture, boxes and other items left in shared walkways.
• Car parks and bike stores: abandoned items, broken bikes and fly-tipped rubbish.
• Communal gardens and courtyards: dumped furniture and general rubbish from shared outdoor space.
• Communal storage and cupboards: items left in shared storage areas and service cupboards.
What we cannot take
Our partner contractors cannot take hazardous waste, such as asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste or gas bottles. If you are not sure about an item, include it in your photos and we will tell you when we quote.
Who we help
• Block managers and managing agents: one point of contact to get dumped items cleared from the developments you look after.
• RTM and RMC companies: removal of fly-tipped and abandoned items from the common parts of your building, without residents having to organise it themselves.
• Landlords: clearing shared areas of buildings you own or manage.
How it works
1. Send us photos. Upload photos with our quote form, or email them to hello@prolinkpropertysupport.co.uk. Tell us the building address, where the items are (for example "bin store, rear car park") and any access details.
2. We quote from your photos. We send you a quote based on what we can see. No work is booked until you have approved it.
3. We book the clearance. We arrange a date with you and confirm access to the building.
4. Our partner contractors clear it. The removal is carried out by our partner network of licensed contractors, coordinated by Prolink.
5. Responsible disposal. Waste is taken to authorised waste facilities, and we keep the waste transfer paperwork that the law requires for business waste.
Licensed and responsible
• Prolink is registered with the Environment Agency as an upper tier waste carrier, under registration number CBDU630875. You can check this on the Environment Agency's public register of waste carriers, brokers and dealers.
• Clearances are carried out by our partner network of licensed contractors.
• Anyone responsible for waste from a building has a legal duty of care to make sure it is removed by an authorised carrier. Using a registered carrier helps you meet that duty.
Pricing
• Every communal clearance is different, so we do not publish fixed prices.
• We quote from photos. Send us pictures of the items and where they are, and we will come back to you with a quote.
• The price depends on how much there is, what the items are, and access at the building.
